Hello and welcome to the club!

Having made your first step by joining the Dowty Camping Club, you may now be wondering how to book in to your first rally??.

Having chosen a Rally which interests you, book in by phoning the Rally Marshalls who’s contact details are in the rally book Or you can book in online via this website.

It’s advisable to have a look at the RALLY RULES, to see the guidelines which the Club operates under. These rules are for your safety and well-being.

Then you follow the steps listed below:

Follow directions given in your Rally Handbook. When you near your destination you will be guided by a yellow triangle signs with DCC on it.

Code Of Conduct

Please do not arrive on the rally any earlier than the time stated by the Marshalls.

On arrival, you will find the Rally Marshalls waiting for you. They will normally be the first caravans inside the site, and will be marked with Rally Marshalls” signs. Please stop at this point and the marshals will welcome you and advise where you can put your caravan/tent and any other info you may require.

You can join in as much or as little as you want - fellow ralliers will welcome you and help you in any way they can.

During the rally, usually on the Saturday afternoon/evening there will be a raffle and get together. This is when ralliers assemble for news of forthcoming events, birthday and anniversary announcements, and the raffle is drawn.

To be a Rallier, you will need all the usual camping equipment, plus blocks and wedges (for sloping sites) to level up your caravan, and a bin liner to take your dry waste home with you.

PLEASE BE AWARE: Rallies generally will require you to have your own facilities - i.e.toilet in your caravan and your own electrical power (12v battery, solar panel etc.) Rallies offering electric hook-ups will be indicated in the rally book. If there is no mention of this you will need your own facilities.

All rallies will always have drinking water point and toilet disposal point.

AND FINALLY: If you have booked in for a rally, and find that you can’t attend, please let the Rally Marshalls know as soon as possible.

Above all please enjoy yourself and do not hesitate to ask anyone for advice if you need it.
